Q: What are your qualifications?
A: Meg has been a qualified hair stylist and make up artist since 1992 and have trained with Jon Le Court, Vidal Sassoon, Napoleon Perdis Cosmetics and industry leaders in airbrushing techniques.

Her work history includes several leading Brisbane, Gold Coast and international salons and day spas, luxury 5 Star cruise ships and more recently and locally for photo shoots involving Queensland Brides Magazine and major Queensland shopping centre catalogues.

Q. Do you only style for Brides & Bridal parties?
A. No, Meg provides hair and makeup services for all special occasions including weddings, engagements, corporate functions and formals.

Meg also regularly styles for advertising & modelling agencies for catalogues, photo shoots and portfolios.

Q. For what occasions would you recommend Airbrushed Makeup?
A. Airbrushed makeup is recommended for any photographic work, as it is a long wearing application lasting up to 12 hours, is waterproof and gives an incredibly flawless appearance.

This is perfect for brides wearing strapless or strappy dresses, as the whole neck and décolletage can be sprayed to present an even skin tone all over.

Q. What does a hair & makeup trial consist of?
A. The hair & makeup trial allows us to create your whole look, including veil or hair accessories, so you don’t have to worry on your wedding day.

If you are undecided of whether to have traditional or airbrushed makeup, this is the perfect opportunity to trial both, as Meg often does half the face in traditional & half with the airbrush, so you can wear both and decide which technique looks and feels right for you.

The trial takes between 2 & 2.5 hours if you are having both hair & makeup done, or about an hour per individual service.

Q. What products do you use?
A. A combination of products are used to achieve the best results for our clients. Ranges include L’oreal, Schwarzkopf, Napoleon, MAC, Kroyolan and Dinair.

False eyelashes are included with every makeup application, and all makeup is finished off with the ‘as seen on Oprah’ makeup setting spray – resistant to smudging, tears, humidity and water! Used by leading makeup artists worldwide and a must have on your special day!

Q. Do you come to us on the day?
A. Yes.

Q. Do you work alone?
A. As a qualified hair stylist & makeup artist, Meg has the ability to work on her own most of the time, however it does depend on the size of the wedding party or photo shoot and the time frame involved.

Style Fusion is affiliated with a few select professional hair & makeup artists that we work with when required.

A: Every wedding and photo shoot is unique and priced accordingly to your specific needs.
